On Friday August 17th, our missionaries, Scott and Tracy Blackburn, received a phone that every parent dreads – their daughter had been killed. They were thousands of miles away in the Amazon jungle town of Puerto Maldonado.  By Sunday, they had arrived on Canadian soil.

Tatiana Blackburn put a rich, detailed account of her life and feelings online. She was determined to tell the world what mattered to her.  Her faith mattered. “The more I get to know Jesus, the more I am astounded by his grace,” she wrote.  She merely wanted to help people and love children.
